Graduation Party Games

Graduation Games Penny Game

Graduation is such an exciting time and reason to celebrate! I remember how excited I was to graduate and move on to the next exciting stage of my life. I have some fun graduation party game ideas for both high school and college graduation parties. You don’t need anything too complicated or cheesy to have some fun at graduation. You can pick a couple games you like from the ideas I have that fit your crowd.

  • Pennies. Bounce or throw a penny into a jar.
  • Twister. Adults playing Twister is always fun!
  • Yard games. Corn Hole and Giant Jenga are always a hit.
  • DIY Yard Dice. Make large dice from large square boxes painted white if you want with dots drawn on with a sharpie.
  • All about the grad game. Some one can ask the graduate questions about themselves like who was their favorite teacher, least favorite teacher, favorite spot at school, where they want to travel to, and what they wanted to be as a kid when they grew up. Then everyone has to answer these questions to guess what the graduate would say, whoever gets the most right wins.
  • Bed sheet volleyball. Use a bouncy ball, balloons, or an actually volleyball to play volley ball with a bed sheet as the net.
  • Paper airplanes you are going places game. People have to make paper airplanes and fly them to see who gets them to travel the farthest.
  • College essentials scavenger hunt! Go around to neighbors to find some of the essentials for college such as ramen, mac & cheese, crackers, and other college foods. You can get creative with funny items to find too.
  • Pizza eating contest! Pizza is a big part of the college experience. See who can eat a slice or two of pizza the fastest.
  • Pizza money game. Put money in a jar including dollars, quarters, dimes, nickels and pennies, then count how much it is. People have to guess how much it is. The winner gets to keep the money.
  • Glow stick hide and seek. Nighttime hide and seek with each person getting a glow stick and hiding outdoors. You are never too old for hide and seek!
  • Funny photo booth! Big sunglasses, boas, and fun stuff to take pictures with. It is not a game but still a fun activity and easy to put together.
  • College or after college advice. This can be funny like a don’t do what I did with funny or embarrassing stories from guests.
  • Kick school goodbye! Soccer with a fun bouncy ball. You can write subjects in school to kick.

Teacher Appreciation Gift With Free Printable Tags

Coffee Tumbler Gift With Free Printable Tags

It’s been a long year for teachers and it is time for us to show our appreciation! My daughter is almost done with Kindergarten and she has had such a sweet teacher this year. I have a lot of respect for anyone that can control a class full of tiny humans. It must be exhausting being a teacher! My dad was a teacher and his parents were as well. Teaching might be in my blood but the teaching gene skipped me. It’s hard to give a gift that can show full appreciation and really be useful for the teacher. I think most teachers get through the year with the help of a lot of caffeine! That is why I made this fun and easy teacher appreciation gift with free printable tags. I made some cute and funny printable tags to go with a coffee gift. This can include tumblers and coffee mugs. Add a printable and a gift card inside to a coffee shop then you have an easy gift. Coffee cards, money, or Target cards are fail proof gifts for teachers. read more

    Coloring Printable Mother’s Day Banner

    Mom Banner Mother's Day Printable

For parties focused on parents I think it is fun to get kids involved in making the decorations. These printable banner is such an easy do it yourself for kids to make. All you have to do is print it out kids can color in the letters and around the letters on the pendants. The banner includes a few pieces that say Moooom! When kids say mom they often throw in a few extra vowels in there to really get mom’s attention. Since I was making this from a kids perspective I thought that would be a funny way to write it. My daughter loves to draw so this was the perfect project for her. Really any age kid can help make this banner maybe with a little help. I also tried to make the letters look a little childlike to match with the doodles. read more

    Colorful Spring Chocolate Bark

Chocolate bark in colorful spring colors

Spring is in the air and that means bright colors all around. The flowers are blooming and I just love this time of year. In Phoenix I think spring starts a bit earlier than the rest of the country. Here it’s in the 90’s and other places are having snow storms. Even if it isn’t quite outdoor entertaining time you can still make some fun colorful spring chocolate bark with kids. I happen to have a bunch of bright colors of candy melts that I needed to use up. I used white, orange, and green. These colors kind of remind me of a retro vibe. When I was a kid my grandparents still had the retro shag carpet in these bright colors. They also are fun for spring! Next time I think I will use pink, yellow, and orange. Then I topped them with colorful sprinkles and that is all that is needed. I am still trying to perfect the art of making colorful chocolate. It’s an art in my mind. Since I have made mistakes I will share what they are and what you can do differently. read more

    Easter Bunny Lollipops

    Bunny Lollipops

It’s bunny time of year! I made these little bunny lollipops to celebrate Easter. I can’t decide which are cuter these are my Easter Chick Lollipops. Let me know which ones you like better. These are a fun craft to make with kids for Easter. You can also put them in Easter baskets. What are the rules for the Easter bunny is it supposed to be the Easter bunny that brings a basket or can kids know it’s the parents? I get confused from holiday to holiday what my daughter believes. She just lost a tooth and she is so excited about the tooth fairy. I love it but she keeps asking questions. Then I forget what I already told her. I fall into the rabbit hole of well, rabbit lies and fairy lies. However, I think there is something wonderful and magical about these imaginary creatures. I wish I still believed in as many things as my daughter. Anyways getting back on track, these Easter bunny lollipops are the cutest. They are simple to make and kids can make them themselves to give to friends. Well maybe with a little help depending on their age. read more

    Plastic Tablecloth Floating Flowers

I’m going to get real with you about this post. I wanted to come up with ideas with things I had in my craft supplies. I’ve been cleaning things out because we just moved. Some stuff I wanted to keep in case I had some use for them in the future. I hate to waste anything and because of that I have hoarded random craft supplies. I had one pink plastic table cloth that has no purpose. A while ago I saw on Pinterest someone had use plastic table cloths to make floating flowers in the pool. I have no idea wear that post was from but I wanted to create my own floating pool flowers. These aren’t the prettiest flowers ever but with a bunch of them I think they would look so pretty in the pool for a party! Also just for an outdoor party. These plastic tablecloth floating flowers are a simple diy decoration that no one will expect. I made 3 of them with one table cloth. These table cloths I got in a pack of two from the dollar store. If you had 5 packs of them you could make 30 flowers! I can tell you how to make them even prettier than my attempt. read more

    15 Simple Party Cleaning Tips

    15 Simple Party Cleaning Tips!

I would say my least favorite part of throwing parties is the clean up! More like my least favorite party of life is cleaning. I’m not afraid to say it, I don’t like cleaning, but it is a necessary evil. When you throw a party sadly after all the fun you have to clean up the mess. Since I am a blogger that focuses heavily on parties I know a thing or two about making glittery confetti messes. I am creating things on a daily basis and with that comes tiny pretty messes. Since making messes comes more naturally to me than cleaning them up I have come up with some shortcuts and ways to make the cleaning party a bit easier. I also have thrown enough parties to figure out what does and doesn’t work with the clean up. You can see my messes above, that top picture sure has a lot of dirt haha. In Arizona we get these lovely dust storms that bring massive amounts of dust all around, I decided that dust needed some confetti on top. My bottom more Instagram friendly mess picture I was playing around with confetti while wearing my unicorn slippers! Grown women need unicorn slippers too! I never outgrew my love for fairies, unicorns, and mermaids. Luckily I had a daughter so I can still play with all those silly fun things. Those are just a few of my many party messes that I have made and had to clean up! read more
