Easter

Floral Bunny Headband

I’ve been putting spring and Easter together because I’m feeling the flowers this Easter. They go together like peanut butter and jelly! I also love the faux flowers headbands. I’ve made the flower crowns. The unicorn horn flower headbands are also amazing, although I have yet to try to make them. This flower bunny headband is so adorable and my daughter absolutely loved wearing it. In fact she even volunteered for me to take pictures of her with it on hopping around like a little bunny. She doesn’t like wearing her hair up but she loves headbands and holidays. This headband was the perfect fit for her and it will be going in the rotation of headbands she has. read more

Easter and Spring Wood Sign

Spring Flower SignBunny Butt Sign

Right now it is not feeling like spring but man am I ready for springtime! It is my favorite time of year. I love being able to get out doors more and enjoy all of the flowers. Since outside hasn’t caught on to the fact that it is spring I decided to brighten up inside with a fun Easter and Spring sign. Yup, that’s right this post is a double whammy of fun! One side of this heart sign is a spring sign and the other side is a cute bunny butt for Easter. You can switch sides and keep this decoration for longer. You could also just make one of these ideas, whichever you would like. I have to say though I really love them both. The heart sign I got around Valentine’s Day and it has been just sitting in my closet all sad and unused. Now it is getting some extra love, see what I did there, hearts and love! You can still find wood hearts at the craft store or on amazon. I found the flowers at the Dollar Tree and they look so gorgeous for such a reasonable price. Then I used pink pipe cleaners for the letter. You can also use sticker letters or paint on spring. The bunny butt is just white spray paint, a white pom pom, and pink foam paper. This part was really easy to make. Some of the flowers stuck out a bit on this side but it would be cute to use flowers around the top of this side as well to look like the bunny is digging around in the flowers. Bunnies are always up to trouble like that! read more

Bunny Napkins

The bunnies are coming out to play because it is almost Easter! Wow Easter just creeped up on me this year. I want to make all the cute things for Easter. However, this year in particular is super busy before Easter. My wedding is two weeks before Easter and that means I am really busy. I can still get it together to make some stuff because I always make time for crafts but these crafts are going to be super easy. These easy bunny napkins are about as easy as it gets. Plus, they are so adorable for Easter place settings or just casual Easter meals. I used some flower napkins that I had because spring and Easter go hand in hand. You can also use white or pastels would look really adorable as bunnies. read more

Sparkly mermaid basket

Mermaid Easter Basket

I have been obsessed with mermaids lately. In fact I made my office a mermaid theme because I just love them so much! I’ve also been dying to get some mermaid fabric for a project. First I got it for a mermaid message board, which I still might make but I haven’t gotten around to that just yet. I decided to make a mermaid Easter basket and I just love how it turned out. The colors in this fabric were perfect for a mermaid lover but they make them in a bunch of different colors know. You can write letters for kids names on the front. I made it for Easter but you can really use this basket for toys or all kinds of fun goodies year round. Mermaids can be included in all of the holidays in my opinion. You know the Christmas mermaid, Thanksgiving mermaid, etc. Also with summer coming up I anticipate a ton of mermaid fun on the blog and trending soon. read more

Peeps Printables

Peeps are just the cutest and they make the best decorations! You can eat peeps, use the candy in vases with flowers for decor, and now with my peeps printables you can make a whole party! I have gift tags, printable toppers like above, and peeps you can make into a banner. You can also put the larger ones in a vase attached to a wooden dowel for centerpieces. Just put tissue paper in the bottom of the vase to steady them. If you just need the toppers or gift tags they are all separate to download! read more

Free Printable Peep S’more Gift Tags

Confession, I used to not like Peeps. I’ve always thought they were an adorable candy but they are super sweet. I have found that they are best when you add them to something. Add a bit of chocolate and graham crackers and they are so tasty! I love Peeps in a s’more. These also have the added fun of the colorful chocolate bark wit some sprinkles. It is a colorful candy dream. The more color the better for spring and Easter! I made these with cute little printable s’more tags that look like peeps. They say “More S’mores For My Peeps” and “I Like You S’more Than Most Peeps”. Cute and silly tags to match the cute peeps. These are fun for kids and adults alike. Adults maybe even more than kids, I will have to hand some out to my girlfriends. I used blue Peeps, I was going to pick the purple my favorite color but the purple ones faces weren’t as cute, they were a little lopsided. It happens! I do have a pet peeve with Peeps. They have all of these fun colors but I don’t want to pick one I want a mix of them all. I’m too indecisive to pick one color. So Peeps peeps please put all the colors in one package! read more

Little Chicks Easter Lollipops

Easter Chick Lollipops

Spring is in the air, the flowers are blooming and before you know it Easter will be here! Are you guys ready for Easter? I’m ready for Easter crafts but I am trying to limit my sugar intake at the moment. Hi my name is Valerie and I’m a sugar addict. Admitting it is the first step, right?! Don’t worry I am still going to be making lots of yummy treats because I just love baking. I think maybe I will just try it all in moderation. Back to my point I made these Easter chick lollipops because they are easy to make and give out to friends. You can also put them in an Easter basket or serve on Easter. I personally also can resist the lollipops so as a mom to make just for the kiddo and her friends they are a winner! I love Easter chicks they are an underrated Easter animal watch out bunnies the chicks are taking over! It’s also International Women’s Day so there we go double chick love! read more

Unicorn Easter Eggs

Easy Unicorn Easter Eggs

I decided to have some fun with Easter eggs! The bright colors are already kind of fun but you have to turn them into something to make them even better. Right now unicorns are so hot, in, whatever kids are saying these days for trendy! I’ve seen unicorns popping up all over my pinterest feed and on Facebook. Unicorn treats, unicorn drinks, and unicorn party decorations. Let me tell you I love all the unicorn love. I think in a past lifetime I may have been a unicorn. These unicorn Easter eggs are perfect to put in an Easter basket or decorate with kids for decorations. I like these plastic eggs because they can last for the next month and we get a lot of use out of them. We also have to dye the traditional way with the huge mess, vinegar smell and the eggs never turning out that cute. That’s part of the Easter tradition. These eggs on the other hand are easy to make and really fun for a bright, festive unicorn Easter! read more
