Brunch Printables

Brunch Printables- but first, coffee and mimosa me printables - Val Event Gal

My brunch week on the blog is coming to an end :(. If you missed my other brunch posts you can see my bacon flowers here http://valeventgal.com/2015/08/bacon-flowers/ and bacon and eggs banner here http://valeventgal.com/2015/08/bacon-eggs-banner/. I just had to make some brunch printables to go with the brunch fun. I would not survive without coffee! I really do not know how some people just don’t drink coffee. That is why I needed the but first, coffee printable. I love a good coffee bar and I will give you a few ideas of what you need for the ultimate brunch coffee bar! I also am a fan of mimosas. I love mimosas because they always make brunch feel like a celebration! My mimosa me printable is perfect for a mimosa bar. In the morning there aren’t a lot of words in my vocabulary so mimosa me should get the job done! I really like any kind of bar taco bar, mimosa bar, coffee bar, waffle bar, ice cream bar and bar bar. Bars are the best for parties because you can set them up to look all pretty and people get to choose the way they like their food and drinks. It can be hard to cater to everyone’s taste when you are hosting a party. I say let them decide how they want things. read more

Pineapple Coconut Yum!

pineapple drink, drink in a pineapple, pineapple coconut drink, pineapple drink

Pineapple coconut yum! This drink is so yum I decided that’s what it has to be called. It is like a vacation in a glass or in this case in a pineapple! Why drink from a regular cup when you can drink from a pineapple?!

The past couple of weeks have been unbearable hot in Arizona. We had a week or so with tempatures all over 110, yuck! I just want to bathe in a tub of ice all day and drink frozen drinks. Luckily I will be getting out of the heat for a little bit soon. It is basically mandatory to go on vacation in the summer when you live in Arizona. To make things a little bit more tolerable I have been making lots of frozen drinks and swimming almost every day. I have also been on a huge pineapple kick I love to eat them, look at them, and decorate with them! When I have a nice pineapple drink I can imagine(or hallucinate from the heat) that I am on a beach drinking out of a pineapple. I had a whole weekend without my daughter, which is a rare occasion as a single mom. I decided to make it like a little staycation pool, pineapple drinks and a mani/pedi. I missed my daughter but it was amazing to just relax! This pineapple drink I made was delicious, definitely super fruity and girly because if I’m going to go fruity I go all out! You can make it with or without alcohol, I went with it because I was on “vacation”. I drank it out of a pineapple but I didn’t want to go through the effort of scooping out the middle of the pineapple so I cut off the top and bottom and put a cup in it. Just bring the cup you are going to use when picking out pineapples to get the size right. read more

Drink Me I’m Irish Drink

1

I have been getting ready for St. Patrick’s Day this week. I wanted to try out making an Irish drink to really get in the mood for St. Patrick’s Day. As a mom it is good to make something for yourself once in a while. Mommy needs a break sometimes and to relax at night with a little mom juice, am I right?! When I was in college for St. Paddy’s we would go to an Irish bar that was jam packed and I would have to get the green beer to have my Irish drink. Usually it was some watered down beer and by the end of the night someone had spilled green beer on me. Okay it was probably me doing the spilling, I’m clumsy like that ;). I am happy to be past the point of going out to crowded places on St. Patrick’s Day. read more
