Bunny Napkins

The bunnies are coming out to play because it is almost Easter! Wow Easter just creeped up on me this year. I want to make all the cute things for Easter. However, this year in particular is super busy before Easter. My wedding is two weeks before Easter and that means I am really busy. I can still get it together to make some stuff because I always make time for crafts but these crafts are going to be super easy. These easy bunny napkins are about as easy as it gets. Plus, they are so adorable for Easter place settings or just casual Easter meals. I used some flower napkins that I had because spring and Easter go hand in hand. You can also use white or pastels would look really adorable as bunnies. read more

Sparkly mermaid basket

Mermaid Easter Basket

I have been obsessed with mermaids lately. In fact I made my office a mermaid theme because I just love them so much! I’ve also been dying to get some mermaid fabric for a project. First I got it for a mermaid message board, which I still might make but I haven’t gotten around to that just yet. I decided to make a mermaid Easter basket and I just love how it turned out. The colors in this fabric were perfect for a mermaid lover but they make them in a bunch of different colors know. You can write letters for kids names on the front. I made it for Easter but you can really use this basket for toys or all kinds of fun goodies year round. Mermaids can be included in all of the holidays in my opinion. You know the Christmas mermaid, Thanksgiving mermaid, etc. Also with summer coming up I anticipate a ton of mermaid fun on the blog and trending soon. read more

Craft Room Challenge Before Pics

Craft Room Challenge Week 1

It is the beginning of the year and you know what that means, time to get organized! Ok I never actually say it is time to get organized. Typically I have accepted that I am an unorganized mess and that I will always exist in a pile of stuff. However, in the past I have been in apartments and working with small amounts of space. Now I have my own office/craft room and I want to make it look nice. It is kind of in the middle of an identity crisis. Is it a guest room, craft room, office, place for my daughter to work on school work, or place for me to just pile up random stuff that doesn’t have a place yet. So far the random piles have won out over anything functional. I end up taking my computer into the kitchen because that room feels too chaotic to work in. Well that is about to change thanks to a little kick in the butt from the crafty ladies of the Craft Cult organizing the Craft Room Challenge 2018. We want you all to follow along with us and organize your own space as well! We are tackling one area at a time to make it smooth sailing and not crazy overwhelming. If I can do it you can all do it too! The best part is there are so many ladies organizing their mess of a craft room. Everyone has different supplies to organize, levels of mess, and areas of crafting that they specialize in. You can find your crafty spirit animal in this group that has the same messy issues that you do. read more

Wine Party Tips, Games, and Printables

Over the years I have hosted many wine nights. I used to live in San Diego right near wine country and I grew to really love wine. It is the perfect easy adult party to host. Also the perfect holiday get together. I don’t know about you but I needed some adult socializing and bonding time over a glass of wine. Notable Wines are the perfect addition to your holiday party. They are the first wines to have the flavor profiles on the front of the bottle making it easy for finding in stores and party guests to see the flavor profile. You can find where Notable Wines are available near you by using the product locator. The Notable: Oaky and Buttery Chardonnay has smooth oak, butter, and vanilla notes. The Notable: Fruity and Crisp Chardonnay has citrus, melon, and peach notes. They are the perfect wines for beginning and seasoned wine drinkers. Plus, at a wine tasting party you don’t have to choose one, you can taste both to see which you prefer. I made some fun printable for decorations and food labels. I absolutely love these adorable grape and wine glass decorations! It’s hard to find simple, classy, wine decorations to add to a wine party. That is why I had to create my own. I also made a printable wine bingo game. Bingo is a classic game everyone loves and no party is complete without games! Adults really get into games and I have some easy wine party game ideas for you. read more

Fairy Garden Ornaments

I was compensated for this post. This post contains affiliate links and I will be compensated if you make a purchase after clicking on my links.

In the spring I always love to make fairy gardens. I thought it might be fun to bring some of the fairy garden magic into Christmas. I love making my own ornaments and adding new ones to the tree each year. Over the years I have gotten a bit of a collection and these fairy garden ornaments are the perfect addition to my collection. I made these with the help of a few dollar store materials. When I saw their Christmas decorations out I went a little crazy and snatched up a bunch of the fun ornaments and things before they run out! You can also find supplies online. Don’t you just love shopping in pajamas?! Especially with a kid sometimes it is difficult to find time to run out and get things for craft projects. I love how these ornaments turned out! The butterflies on the outside make it look like they are flying away or the butterfly is carrying the garden. It’s whimsical and beyond easy to make. read more

Witch Hat Party Favors

I’m feeling a little witchy with Halloween coming up! Not in an evil witch way. Ok maybe sometimes I wish I could act a little more witchy or sometimes I do act witchy like when I tell my daughter to pick up her toys for the 100th time. Overall I think I’m a good witch and handing out little witch hat treats makes me a really good witch. I always liked the spooky stuff as a child but as a mom I also enjoy the cutesy side of Halloween. These easy diy witch hat party favors are really cute to add candy too or little Halloween gifts, I made them tiny to be able to make enough for a whole group of kids. Plus, if you want to get all of the candy out of the house so you don’t eat it all(or is that just me?) this is a cute way to give it out to friends. Little chocolates or any little and cute candies would be perfect for these witch hat party favors. read more

Trick Or Treat Bag

Part of the fun of Halloween is who you spend it with. Kids love to get together for trick or treating together. My sisters neighborhood is where we have been trick or treating for the past few years. The cousins and their friends all like to get together for trick or treating. Now we are in a new place but I still want to make trick or treating fun for my daughter. We are going to invite some new friends along to trick or treat. For the occasion I made these fun little “trick or treat bag” and “trick or treat squad’ Halloween bags. They are filled with fun little goodies for kids on Halloween. You could also have these for adults at an adult party for party favors. For the kids I put glow sticks and glow bracelets, rings, stickers, erasers, and candy. There are a ton of creative little goodies you can put in these bags including Halloween socks, headbands, necklaces, temporary tattoos, anything glowing or neon, and candy. read more
