Happy Friday! Since it is the weekend and I am on weekend time this post is a little late. It is also super duper easy because that’s what weekends are for! If you are entertaining and doing cocktails this is a fun DIY Washi Tape Serving Tray. I love washi tape because it can dress up a lot of things and you can make easy decorations with not a lot of skill needed. I used this dollar store plate I had and dressed it up for cocktails. Sprinkles are also always a nice touch too ;).
What you need:
Washi tape or any decorative tape
Plain serving tray or plate
Line up the tape straight across starting at the top. Place a piece of tape covering the entire width of the plate and wrap it just slightly over the edge. Make sure that it is smooth as you go along, don’t speed through it because you could end up with bumps. Place the next piece of tape slightly overlapping the first so there is no empty space in between. Work your way down to the bottom entirely covering the plate.
It is a super easy way to add a little something extra. You can do any colors for themes. I chose two colors because it gives it more dimension but one patter or color is fine. Now who is ready for a cocktail?!
