How to Fold Napkin Flowers

Flower Napkins

It is really starting to feel like spring. That means it is time to get outdoors. Outdoor crafting and party time call for lots of flowers. I made these simple napkin flowers. I am going to show you how to make napkin flowers with a few easy steps. These are just paper napkins. A while ago I found these marble napkins and have been waiting to find a use for them. They look so pretty as flowers. The napkin flowers would also look great with a solid color. You can use them at each place setting out even put some in a vase for a decoration and guests to grab. I’m sure there are fancier napkin flowers and more complicated ways to make them but I went for as simple as possible. read more

I love spring time, in Arizona we get a short spring but I love it while it lasts. Seeing flowers bloom inspired me to make some cute flower desserts. I’m don’t have a lot of time for actual baking right now so easy no bake flower desserts were the way to go. How cute are these flower pudding and pops! The flowers are made with salt water taffy and you really can’t go wrong with salt water taffy.

Silk Flower Centerpiece

Silk Flower Centerpiece

I love playing with any kind of flowersl! This silk flower centerpiece anyone can make. I always thought this look would be hard to make yourself until I discovered floral foam. It makes the shape for you and you just have to put in the flowers. You can make a centerpiece or floral balls to hang up. You can make them with fresh flowers as well. You would just need floral foam for fresh flowers, cut them a few inches from the base and no gluing required! Either way it looks really pretty for a centerpiece. I used a medium sized vase I had. You can use dollar store vases or candle sticks to give it more height. I love the look on candle sticks! read more

Honestly, I haven’t seen most of the movies but I love seeing what everyone is wearing and making a list of movies I will be seeing when they come out on Netflix ;). That’s mom life for you, not many movie nights out. It’s not an occasion for me to go over the top but there are some cute easy ways to have a fun little Oscar viewing party.
