I love Thanksgiving and all of the food. I don’t usually eat a ton of turkey but I love stuffing, mashed potatoes, and my favorite food mom’s meatballs. The meatballs aren’t a Thanksgiving thing they are a family recipe that my grandmother invented and hopefully one day I will learn how to master them. The whole meal is amazing and I am getting my fat pants ready. This is why I should have kept my maternity pants, those things were the best with the stretchy waist! I may have worn them for two years after my daughter was born because all jeans should have stretchy waists. Anyways I love all the foods but after the food I have to save room for some of all the pies. This year we will have apple, pumpkin, and pecan pie! Plus, chocolate chip pumpkin bars and chocolate cake. We have a lot of talented bakers in the family. I will be working on the pumpkin and pecan pie. I’ve only made these a few times but they are my favorites. Did you know there is a separate part of the stomach for dessert? That’s just a fact! There’s always room for pie. Pie is so amazing it deserves its own bar and printable so I had to make some pie bar printable. They look like pumpkin pies and turned out adorable. I also had to make some fun and silly signs. They say “Dibs On The Apple” “I’m Stuffed….Oooh Pie!” and “You Had Me At Pie”. These printables are so easy to put together last minute to make your pie serving area into a pie bar.

Do you ever stop and think wow it’s already Friday? Sometime time just flies by because of our busy schedule. Often times I get caught up in the busy day to day schedule and I put off taking care of myself. I say tomorrow I will do something for myself and then tomorrow I will say the same thing. I’ve gotten to the point where I realize sometimes I have to put myself first and practice self care on the go. Life isn’t going to slow down with an active kid and working from home. It would be nice to be able to freeze time to just take a me day but until I come across time freezing powers I will have to make time freeze myself. Even if you are always on the go you can find little ways and little bits of time to take care of yourself that can make a big difference. Not only will I give you some easy ideas for self care, I made some PRINTABLES CLICK HERE that you can add right to a bottle of Honest Tea® or tape to the back of Lorissa’s Kitchen Premium Protein Snacks. It adds an easy way to plan out your self care and goals. Plus, simple motivational quotes because we could all use those little words of encouragement. The right drinks and snacks are an essential part of self care. Honest Tea® and Lorissa’s Kitchen Premium Protein Snacks are the perfect on the go snacks. I love Honest Tea’s Honey Green Tea and Lorissa’s Kitchen Korean Barbeque Beef. Yum, now I’m getting hungry. I always have a cooler worth of snacks and drinks packed for my daughter taking her to activities. Sometimes I forget to bring anything at all for myself and I wonder why I am so low on energy. Seriously ladies, we have to take care of ourselves too!
The summer is coming to an end and to celebrate I made some cute fruit party printable! Just because summer is almost over doesn’t mean we can’t have colorful fruit parties still! These are really cute for kids parties or just because to get kids to eat some extra fruit. Have a fruit fest with lots of fruit, it works for us! If I call anything a party my daughter is on board. Next up the veggie party ;).
What you need to make these:
We just went to Disney World for the first time and I had a blast! I have been to Disney Land many times but now we live in Florida and I will be a Disney World regular. My daughter was really excited to go too. I wanted to make something to build up the excitement for our trip. I made this fun free printable countdown to Disney banner. It also includes some easy activities to do the week before your trip to build up excitement. You can also decorate the banner with some bows to make them look extra like Mickey or Minnie Mouse. This is just a simple way to get ready for your trip. You can do some or all of the activity ideas or just take off or cross off a number each day for the countdown. What ever works best for you and your kids.

- Nothing is better in summertime than lemonade! It is my favorite summer drink to keep cool. As a kid I have such great memories of making lemonade stands with my family. We lived on a cul de sac and everyone in the neighborhood were close friends. That made having a lemonade stand extra fun because all the neighbors would come by and support us. My sister and I would put two straws in a cup because we thought it looked fancy. I still sometimes like to drink my drinks with two colorful straws. I decided to continue the family tradition of making a lemonade stand and it was even more fun as an adult! It was made extra easy by using 2 liter bottles of Minute Maid® Lemonade for our lemonade at the lemonade stand. We made a colorful yellow and sunny lemonade stand. I created some fun lemonade printables to decorate the cups and stand. I love how the lemon printables turned out! Since the lemonade stand I have been drinking my Minute Maid lemonade with straws that have lemon toppers to make it feel more festive. We also made fun to go cups for the lemonade. I find that sometimes the problem with lemonade stands is the lemonade is tricky for people to take with without spilling. I dressed up mason jars and yellow paper cups with fun printables plus spill proof lids. I tested them out by tipping them to the side to make sure they wouldn’t spill and it worked! That may be a risky way to test it, but luckily the lids passed the test.
To get your lemonade stand started first you will need to pick up some Minute Maid Lemonade from Publix! It is located in the aisle with specialty drinks and soft drinks next to the soft drinks. The 2 Liter bottles are perfect for a lemonade stand and making a lot of drinks find your local store HERE. Find your local store and save a $1 when you buy 2 2 liter bottles save in store. Who doesn’t love a BBQ with some tasty hamburgers and hot dogs?! I know I could go for some BBQ food right about now! Since it is the season to light up the grill I made some cute and easy BBQ party printable to go with the occasion. Nothing too fancy just hot dogs and hamburgers. That’s kind of the extent of what I can make on the grill but they are always popular with a crowd. When I was a kid I could have lived off of hot dogs. Maybe not the best choice for every day but definitely a winner for special occasions! The toppers pictured above are cute to put on a toothpick then put into the top of the hot dogs and hamburgers. You can also top desserts or sides such as cheese with the toppers. Cut them out, tape the back to a toothpick, put into food and you are good to go!
The most recent Cars movie just came out and I am so excited to see it! Yes, I get excited about kids movies, especially new ones. I need a break from Moana on repeat every day! I made some fun party printables inspired by the cute characters. They are adorable for a Cars themed party. I have everything from banners, toppers, party signs, and these cute snack boxes. You can get creative with how you use the party printable for decorations.
What you need to assemble them:
Cars is such a cute movie and every movie needs some snacks! These printable snack boxes are adorable for a movie night. You can put popcorn and chips in them. You could also add some fruits and veggies in plastic bags. It’s an easy do it yourself for parties or movie nights inspired by the cars movies. I have seen almost all the kids movies that have come out in the last couple years. I’ve only seen a couple adult movies because I’m usually with my daughter and asleep by 9. I have to say I think some of the kids movies are really good. The Cars movies are really cute and definitely a crowd pleaser. We do a lot of movie nights in because it’s just way easier and kids don’t always have the attention span for movies out of the house. Plus, it’s cheaper! I like to make theme nights and movie nights extra fun. We pile pillows and blankets on the floor in the living room to watch movies. Cars is the perfect movie for a themed movie night. Have mini chocolate donut tires, fuel up on drinks, and mini car races for an activity.
My daughter turned 6 recently and it seems like the time flies by doesn’t it?! I was looking at her baby book recently. Ok I actually only finished her baby book recently in true procrastinator fashion. There was a cute list of all her likes and first in one of the little books I had. I loved looking back at that and thought it would be cute to have a little birthday questionnaire each year for her to look back and remember what she liked at each age. It’s just a few simple questions for kids to answer about themselves. If they are too young to fill it out mom can fill it out for them. I would also suggest using black sharpie to fill it out to see it better in pictures. Do as I say not as I do! You ca just keep the questions or take a cute picture with your kid holding up the questions. I didn’t plan far ahead for this so I just took a random picture but kids could be in their favorite spot, room, holding a favorite stuffed animal, or with their favorite food in the picture to make it extra fun!
For my daughters birthday party she new she wanted a Moana party! She loves the movie and of course we have watched it a zillion times. Every time we watch it she has a new favorite character. She is fond of Maui and Tomatoa. She also loves Moana’s animal side kicks and of course Moana. I made some printables inspired by the movie they are fun for banners, food labels, favor tags, and more. You can get really creative with how you use the printable. They looked so cute to add an extra touch to my daughters party decorations. I didn’t find a lot of decorations from the store so I had to DIY a lot of the decor, which was a blast for me. Luckily her birthday being in May makes for a lot of tropical decorations at the party store so we bought those and added the printables to the tropical decorations.
