One of my daughters favorite diys that I have come up with are wands. We have made snowflake wands and fairy wands. She also loves playing dress up. She has gone through different faces of princesses. First it was Cinderella, then Belle, and her absolute favorite is Princess Leia. She is the biggest Star Wars fan on the planet! However, we both need a break from Star Wars. By both of us I mostly mean me. We are really excited to watch the new Beauty and the Beast movie. It is one of my favorites from childhood and I love to share my love for it with my daughter. Having a daughter is the best! I really enjoy this age where we can have princess tea parties and enjoy all the girly stuff. Since my daughter loves wands I decided to make some easy wands inspired by Belle. They of course had to have a red rose and a touch of yellow. These are made with dollar store materials. The paper straws I had a few extra from a party. You can find paper straws at Target, Walmart, some dollar stores, or party stores.

Every princess needs a princess party and every princess party needs fun games! You also want your games to be easy to put together. These games are for a range of ages. For the little little ones some might be too complicated but there is something for everyone. Makes me want to throw a princess party for myself! I did go to an adult princess party one time and it was awesome! My costume was The Little Mermaid because that is my favorite princess movie. My daughter is more partial to Frozen and her favorite princess right now is actually Princess Leia from Star Wars. The best thing about a princess party in my opinion is there are so many princesses to choose from. You can have it focused on one princess or have them all! You can use these ideas for any type of princess party from Frozen to Cinderella or all the princesses together. There can never be too many princesses at a party!
It’s amazing the things you can make with just pipe cleaners. I love doing pipe cleaner crafts with my daughter because they are simple and don’t leave a big mess to clean up. I also like glitter crafts but I always know that I will be cleaning it up for a week. These sparkly pipe cleaners give you that shine without all the mess. We made these cute pipe cleaner crowns in different shapes so it is also a learning craft. You could use all the different shapes on the same crown too! My daughter was partial to the heart crown because she loves hearts. I love the blue one with the circles. I chose the sparkle pipe cleaners but you could do solid colors without sparkle. Crowns can work for boys and girls for the little princes, princesses, queens and kings. Any way you make them they are super simple to make.
