My daughter has been obsessed with the poop emoji since she discovered it! She is only 6 but she loves texting family with emojis on my phone. She has an emoji backpack and loves all the emojis. She loves the rainbow poop emoji even more than the poop emoji. I thought it would make a cute costume. I don’t know how to sew so I am not making any fancy costumes for her. I also don’t want to put a ton of effort into something she will wear a couple times. This costume is prefect for an emoji lover and incredibly easy to put together.

Sometimes you can get to the beach and other times you need the beach to come to you! I made these easy ocean rocks to bring a little calm into my life and have some fun painting. I love how they turned out. We also live about ten minutes from the beach and I thought spreading them around by the beach would be fun! I couldn’t find big rocks when I first looked so I decided to practice on some smaller ones. With larger rocks you can paint sayings on them as well. Spread them by the beach or around town with some kindness messages. I love the trend to spread kindness and kind messages to strangers. These were so easy for anyone to make and the end result is super pretty!
Lately I have seen all kinds of pretty rocks people are decorating and spreading around town for others to find. It is also a relaxing activity to paint rocks. I used to paint and draw a lot but I haven’t had as much time to paint lately. I wanted to try out the whole fun rock painting craze and it was so fun! I didn’t find the best rocks at first for painting and these were my practice ones but I love love how they turned out. The best thing about these easy galaxy rocks is they look pretty and really anyone can make them. You can add messages on top as well with white or light blue paint. The key to making the galaxy is to have a variety of colors to add depth to the look of the rocks. They don’t have to look perfect and you can really make them your own way!
On our recent trip to Disney World I wanted to make it extra special for my daughter since it was her first time there. She is obsessed with meeting all of the characters and getting their autograph. I made these fun DIY Minnie autograph ears to collect all those autographs and for a fun keepsake. She loved them and meeting all of her favorite characters especially the Star Wars ones. She dressed up like Princess Leia for the occasion.
What you need to make them:
white cardstock or foam paper
plain thin headband
This year I got to spend my birthday at the happiest place on earth! For the occasion I made some easy DIY birthday Minnie ears to wear at the park. These were super simple and cheap to make for our trip. I made them last minute and was ready to celebrate. It was one of the best birthdays with my fiancé and daughter. There are a few easy ways to personalize these ears too with different colors. You don’t need any fancy craft tools or materials to make them too. I used pinks and yellow because these are colors I like but black ears with bright colors would also look adorable. I wanted to find a way to put a birthday hat on Minnie ears and it can really be done with any Minnie ears but I also wanted some paper confetti! If you are celebrating your birthday you have to have birthday Minnie ears!
Doesn’t everyone want to be a unicorn or have a unicorn? Well now you can have one just in balloon form. It is easy to make your own unicorn balloons. They won’t float but you can hang them all over to decorate a party! You could also use them for centerpieces just put them on top of vase.
What you need:
balloons in white, pink or rainbow colors
metallic or bright colorful rainbow tissue paper
I am putting together some of my favorite things in this post. Wine and unicorns! These unicorn wine bottles are fun to make for friends or girls nights. You can decorate them and bring them to a friend. You can also decorate them for a girls night. Drink some wine and make a unicorn. Sometimes it gets boring just giving a bottle of wine as a gift. You have to dress it up and what better way to do that then to make them a unicorn. Plus, they are super easy to make with just paint, a party hat, and tissue paper. I am thinking of making wine bottle labels for the face to make it even easier!
This week is all about the unicorns because they are awesome and I can never get enough unicorns! I made these adorable unicorn favor bags. You can use this technique to make unicorn gift bags as well. Who wouldn’t love a little gift dressed up as a unicorn. I have some other unicorn fun coming your way later this week but these bags are one of my favorites. I may have an obsession and I may be writing this while wearing my unicorn slippers. Unicorn parties are fun for kids and adults. One of these days I plan to have a unicorn brunch with lots of rainbow fun treats. I got these bags from the dollar store but you can use any white bags, although the handles on the bags worked really well for the ears. For the hair I used some rainbow metallic tissue paper from the party store for the hair. You can use colorful tissue paper as well.

Back to school is a great time for photo ops. Then you can look back each year at how much your kiddo has grown up! Man it goes so fast, I can’t believe my daughter is already starting first grade! Before I know it she will be a teenager. I want to make sure to take pictures of every stage of her life and important moments like the first day of school! I made this easy back to school photo backdrop for cute pictures. It’s simple for anyone to make with just a few items.
