Continuing with my butterlfy fun I have these adorable butterfly decorations. We just made these for at home for fun. I’m starting to decorate for spring and these were just an easy DIY decoration. If you get a pack of 24 sheets of tissue paper at the dollar store you can make 12 large tissue paper butterflies! They are just as easy as my Tissue Paper Fiesta Flowers, check those out too! You can make them both for spring flowers and butterflies, they go hand in hand. I chose bright fun colors for these but you can really do any colors you want. Butterflies come in so many different colors. We go to this place called butterfly wonderland that has a rain forest type room where the butterflies are flying all around. My daughter tries to get them to land on her but she mostly chases them away by running after them. She gets so excited if one lands on her, it is the cutest! She loves butterflies so much. She also wants a butterfly room for her bedroom and these are a cheap and easy decoration to have in her room.

One of the most memorable parts of Beauty and the Beast is the rose under the glass. It also makes for such a pretty party decoration. When I was a kid and I went to Disneyland I picked out a little glass Beauty and the Beast rose as my souvenir. That is how much I love it! I was recently looking for that souvenir but I guess it got lost with my moves since childhood. I did find a couple Beauty and the Beast glass figures from Disneyland that my mom had held on to. She’s better at keeping things in one piece than I am. These decorations are fun to make just because, for parties, or Beauty and the Beast inspired tea parties. I used just a few dollar store materials to make these. Anyone can make these Beauty and The Beast centerpieces inspired by the movie.
Ain’t no party like a Lucky Charms Party! Use these fun free Lucky Charms party printables to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day or just your love for Lucky Charms! You could have a cereal bar party and use these fun decorations. They would look cute with rainbow color decorations and balloons. I am not a huge fan of all green for St. Patrick’s Day so I have to go the rainbow route. I absolutely love rainbow everything! You could put these circle decorations on straws, spoons, or as treat toppers. Make cupcakes and sprinkle some cereal on top to make them extra fun!
I would say my least favorite part of throwing parties is the clean up! More like my least favorite party of life is cleaning. I’m not afraid to say it, I don’t like cleaning, but it is a necessary evil. When you throw a party sadly after all the fun you have to clean up the mess. Since I am a blogger that focuses heavily on parties I know a thing or two about making glittery confetti messes. I am creating things on a daily basis and with that comes tiny pretty messes. Since making messes comes more naturally to me than cleaning them up I have come up with some shortcuts and ways to make the cleaning party a bit easier. I also have thrown enough parties to figure out what does and doesn’t work with the clean up. You can see my messes above, that top picture sure has a lot of dirt haha. In Arizona we get these lovely dust storms that bring massive amounts of dust all around, I decided that dust needed some confetti on top. My bottom more Instagram friendly mess picture I was playing around with confetti while wearing my unicorn slippers! Grown women need unicorn slippers too! I never outgrew my love for fairies, unicorns, and mermaids. Luckily I had a daughter so I can still play with all those silly fun things. Those are just a few of my many party messes that I have made and had to clean up!
Parties could use a little extra shine! Make easy diy iridescent party decor for bridal showers or other occasions. I made hanging diamond decorations and added pink hearts for a pop of color! I also added some iridescent hearts to balloons for a pretty easy embellishment!
What yo need to make them:
Iridescent tissue paper
white cardstock paper

With New Years and winter around the corner I want to add some sparkle to everything. I am all decorated for Christmas and I added plenty of sparkly snowflakes to my decor. Of course I didn’t think about how messy the sparkles could be so now my place is covered in glitter. These sparkly centerpiece ideas are no mess because I used glitter washi tape! Plus I got the materials from the dollar store. Cheap, easy, and sparkly without the mess.
For the Candles I wrapped gold washi tape around led tea lights. Don’t use regular candles unless you are just wrapping the very bottom.
These diy sparkle party decorations are the best and most creative ways to make your party sparkle! I want to have a sparkly unicorn princess party stat. There is something for every kind of shiny party from weddings, kids parties, new years, and birthdays. These are my absolute favorite sparkly decoration ideas from around the web. Christmas party season is starting and man am I excited! I love a good Christmas party and lots of Christmas party food. I don’t typically cook the food but I can help make it look all cute to serve. For fall I made these fun Pumpkin Serving Trays that were a hit. I thought it would be fun to make serving trays for Christmas parties too. I have been loving all of the snow globe ideas this season. I probably spent an hour on Pinterest looking at ideas. Although spending an hour on Pinterest is a typical day for me. This DIY Snow Globe Serving Tray can be made mostly with dollar store materials and a few from the craft store. I also had left over snow and trees to decorate my place. You can use these trays for home decorations as well, they’d be cute with a snow village on top! I may have made a wee bit of a mess with the snow but that just adds to the snowy look, right?!
Christmas is a hectic time with celebrations and wrapping presents. That doesn’t mean you can’t still have a cute and easy Christmas table setting for Christmas parties or Christmas day. If you are wrapping presents anyways might as well wrap the whole table too to make a pretty and easy Christmas table. This is fun for gift wrapping parties, cookie parties and parties with kids. This Christmas table setting was really easy to make and looks super cute. I added a bunch of bows in the middle for a table runner but you could add one bow in the middle and ribbon. This is a good use too of extra wrapping paper.
