I have a scarf obsession. They dress up boring winter clothes and are an easy way to accessorize. My scarfs include tons of colors and patterns. I also have a gold elephant one that I love. I made this simple infinity scarf from the dollar section at target into an owl scarf. It’s cute because the owl looks like it’s tucked into the scarf like a nest. Anyone can make this diy no sew owl scarf! It literally takes no crafty skill to make this owl scarf. Just a couple simple instructions.

I love winter time and getting all bundled up. In Phoenix it doesn’t get cold to the point where you can’t leave the house but you definitely need to be bundled up. I also love winter hats! I’ve seen the adorable animal hats that people crochet or sew. Crocheting and sewing are way above my crafty skill level. One day when I have some extra time maybe I will learn how to crochet. For now I will stick to the easier way. I found some solid color hats from the dollar section at target. They were a couple dollars. Then you add a felt owl and it is an adorable owl hat. I made this one for me but you can also make them for kids. For my daughter I will add in some bright colors to match her rainbow colored wardrobe. I made this peek a who owl hat(get it, peek a boo peak a who) in minutes.

My daughter loves little tiny toys. Luckily they are cheap and she gets a lot of use out of them. The only problem is over time we have accumulated a ton of them. I wanted to find another use for them. With my love of snow globes at the moment I thought it would be cute to turn them into glitter toy snow globes. You can add snow in too with the glitter, just snow or just glitter. We have a ton of my little pony toys. We also have an excessive amount of Star Wars toys. You can use any little toys. These diy glitter spider rings were really easy to make and transform basic spider rings into something shiny and pretty. These are good for kids and adult parties. You can also use them as table decorations or wine charms.

It doesn’t exactly feel like fall yet but I am ready for fall. That is why I need to start the fall crafts to at least pretend like fall is approaching. I live in Phoenix and we don’t really have a fall but I love all the fall pumpkin decorations. This diy pumpkin serving tray is made with dollar store materials and so easy to put together. It is perfect for serving food at a fall party or for Thanksgiving! You can also put fall scented candles on top or other fall decorations. It’s versatile and I just love how it turned out. The only thing I didn’t get at the dollar store is the paint. I used some copper paint I already had. Craft stores, Amazon, Target or Walmart have a variety of cheap shimmery paints. I love how the copper worked out because it blended well with the orange and I didn’t have to add too much paint.
I’ve been in to the ghost ideas this week for Halloween. These Halloween ghost crafts and desserts from around the web all look so fun to make! What is Halloween without ghosts?! My favorite Halloween costume to date was when my daughter dressed as a ghost and I dressed as a ghost buster. I had to by a mans costume because the female ones weren’t exactly trick or treat friendly. She was so adorable in her ghost costume I found on etsy. These ghosts ideas from around the web have something for adults and kids.
