Snow Christmas Games

| Christmas, Games

Build a snowman printable I live in Florida where we don’t get any real snow. That is why we need some snow Christmas games to bring on the snow fun without having the real thing! Whether you live in the snow or not this winter you can have some snow fun with these easy snow game ideas. There should be something for all ages including the adults. I find that adults like the chance to act like a kid and play games with the family. From snow balls to snowmen I got you covered. There are a few simple printable games and some involving marshmallow snow, yummy. 1. Snowball toss! Put a small amount of marshmallows in cups, use about 8-10 cups per side. Line them up or put them in a pyramid shape. Two teams stand on opposite sides of a table and have to throw snowball marshmallows into the cups on the opposite side. Each marshmallow that makes it into a cup gets taken out of the game until they are all gone. The opposite team has to eat the marshmallows in the cups as they go. You can also have a time game to see who gets the most marshmallows in a cup or a couple cups in a minute! Dress up the cups as little snowmen like the ones above. This can easily be done with just drawing sharpie snowman faces. Catching snowballs in Santa Hat Santa Hat Snowball Christmas Game 2. Snowball Santa hat game. Try to get the snow balls in the Santa hat. It’s so easy and the Santa hat holder can stand close or far depending on the age of the thrower. Cotton ball balls or ping pongs work for this game. See how many balls get in the hat in a minute. 3. Snow ball fight! Battle it out with cotton ball or sock “snow balls”. Easy and fun game there don’t have to be winners or losers. When you don’t have real snow fake snowballs work too for a snowball battle! The key is to get a bunch of fake snowballs so the game can go on for a while. 4. Eating snow! Put a pile of whipped cream on a plate. Each contestant has to eat all the snow on the plate without using their hands. Whoever finishes first wins. 5. Build a snowman game. Use dice to roll the right numbers and build a snowman. Whoever builds theirs first wins. Get the printable snowman game CLICK HERE!! 6. Get the ball in the snowman’s belly to get points. Three tries per person. You can cut out the button holes and toss ping pong balls through the holes. Just back the snowman with cardboard, cut out the holes, and prop it up with more cardboard! It is not too large so propping it up should be easy. This one comes with a bonus reindeer ring toss game. Get rings or make easy pipe cleaner rings around the reindeers antlers to win the game. Three rings per person, per try. Get the printable CLICK HERE!  7. Snowman frisbee. Get a paper plate and draw a snowman face, see who can throw their plate frisbee the farthest. SImple as that! There you go some simple and fun snow games to play at Christmas or on winter break! Snow Christmas Games

Ugly Sweater Awards Printable

| Christmas, Printables

ugly sweater awards I love ugly sweater Christmas parties. It gives adults a chance to bring out there inner child and goofball. Get silly and wear something they would never normally wear in public. Your party guests have gone through a lot of effort to make or find the right ugly sweater. I think you should reward them with these ugly sweater awards! Have everyone vote for their favorite, ugliest of the ugly sweaters. Then hand out 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards! You can give little prizes but a badge of honor can be present enough. Have a little award ceremony for the winners! Pass out the ballots for your guests to vote for their top three favorite ugly sweaters. There are usually a few standouts. Some people half ass it, others go above and beyond to get that perfect ugly Christmas sweater. People love a little competition and these ugly sweater awards make for just a little more fun at your ugly sweater party. All you have to do is print out these cuties on white cardstock paper, cut them out and hand out your awards to the winners. Add a little tape to the back to put the stars on the winners. You can add crafty embellishments to make them extra special. Get the printables HERE or click on the picture above! Printable Ugly Sweater Awards

North Pole Printables

| Christmas

If you can’t make it all the way to the North Pole you can still have a North Pole party! I made these fun printables with a North Pole theme. There are larger sign ones for larger decorations. Then smaller ones for a cake or cupcake toppers. One way to reindeer parking, another to Santa’s village, and another to candy cane lane. Which one will you stop by first. This would be really fun for a North Pole themed breakfast or pancake dinner. You can add lots of powdered sugar on top of the pancakes to make them nice and snowy. read more

| Christmas

It is the most wonderful time of the year and the time of the year to really go all out with Christmas spirit! What gets you into the Christmas spirit? For me it is all about watching Christmas movies, making cookies, eating cookies(I can’t just make them I have to at least sample too). Also I have to do all of that while wearing Christmas pjs and a Santa hat, is there any other way to do it?! Other fun ways to bring on the Christmas spirit are Christmas music, lights, and crafts. You can really get creative with a Christmas themed gift. This is a fun gift for family on Christmas Eve with Christmas pajamas inside and fun stuff to eat or do together. Does your family have a favorite Christmas movie that you watch each year? We love Elf and the kids are getting into it too! Reindeer Lunch Bags

| Christmas

Cute Reindeer Lunch Bags

Around Christmas it is fun to make little surprises for kids but there’s not a lot of time to do anything over the top. These reindeer lunch bags are an easy way to make something cute for the holidays for kids. You can send them with one to school or make them for a fun outing with family. My daughter thought they were adorable.

What you need to make them:

paper bags

gold or brown pipe cleaners

googly eyes

red fuzzy craft balls

  1. Add the red nose and googly eyes to the bag with a hot glue gun.
  2. Take a brown or gold pipe cleaner and fold it in half.
  3. Fold down the ends to the outside. Then fold up the ends making a v shape on each side.
  4. That’s it you are done!

Reindeer Lunch or Snack Bags

I’m a sucker for anything with googly eyes! read more

Christmas Gift Tree

Pretty Christmas Gift Tree

This year we are going to be out of town on Christmas so we didn’t get a tree to decorate. Our tree decorating will happen when we travel back to Phoenix to see family. Since we aren’t getting an actually tree I thought it would be fun to make some kind of version of a tree. This is what I like to call the Christmas gift tree! It is tiered to look like a tree. I went with the sparkly tinsel with gold ornaments but you could use all green garland to look like a green tree! Each layer has little gifts on it with smaller ones on top like little gift cards or dollar bills. The middle layer can have slightly larger items such as small cooking utensils, nail polish, or lip glosses. Then the bottom layer can have slightly larger items like small serving bowls, mini bottles of wine, or chocolates. You can make the gift with a theme or mix and match fun little items that the recipient would love. It’s fun to discover new little things hidden in each layer. Then for the actual tray it can be a tiered tray for them to reuse or just paper plates in three sized. Wrap it all in cellophane to keep everything together if needed. read more

Christmas Ornament Party

| Christmas

One of the best things about the Christmas season is the parties! In the past I have done the classic Christmas party. This year I wanted to try something more fun and modern! I am going to show you how to have a super girly Christmas party! This would be such a fun theme for a girls night or Christmas crafting party. Decorating ornaments at this colorful table with girlfriends is a blast! It’s a Christmas Ornament Party with lots of easy do it yourself ornament touches. I went with pink and gold colors for more of a modern look but traditional red and green would work too. Make it your own with any colors you want that fit your crowd. This is such an easy party tablescape to set up and the end result is really pretty. I’ll show a few easy do it yourself projects to make a shiny ornament party. Shine on and bring the bling to your tablescape with lots of tinsel and glittery ornaments. I used wrapping paper for the base of the tablescape but you can use a colorful table cloth as well. I love this tablescape because it is bright and colorful. It is the perfect mix of playful and classy. read more
