Mickey and Minnie Cinnamon Rolls

For any Disney lover this breakfast is the easiest and cutest Disney inspired treat. I made cinnamon rolls in the shape of a Mickey or Minnie. Add a bow to the top or bottom to make it into a character. I just used store bought cinnamon rolls and these were done in minutes. Make these easy Mickey and Minnie cinnamon rolls for kids before a trip to Disney or as a birthday treat! My daughter loved them and also I did too. Treats are not only for kids!

Unroll cinnamon rolls.
Put one cinnamon roll on a foil lined baking sheet. Rip another one in half then round one side. Attach it to the big cinnamon roll. Put one half on the top left and one on the top right.
Bake according to package and let cool off.
Cover with icing and sprinkles if desired.
I added a bow on a toothpick. You can also add strawberries to look like a bow on top or bottom.

Easy as that! It is a perfect breakfast to make when you are going on a trip to Disney Land or World! read more

Butterfly Bagels

My daughter is a bagel addict. She could completely live off of bagels if I let her. After a while I get bored with just a plain old bagel and cream cheese. She also really likes butterflies. We are moving soon and she might have an all butterfly room! I’m a little nervous to over do the butterflies in case she changes her mind but I don’t think butterflies can go out of style. I made these cute butterfly bagels for her as a snack and she loved them! Add sprinkles to anything and she will love them. It may not be something to have every day but for a fun creative snack or a spring party butterfly bagels are a cute way to dress up plain bagels. Plus, they are incredibly easy to put together. You don’t have to have sprinkles, you could add cute cut out fresh fruit too. I tried to do that with my daughter but she wanted her fruit on the side and had the butterflies pretend to eat the fruit. However she has the fruit I am happy with as long as she eats it too. I think these bagels would be adorable for a brunch with kids and adults. Who knows the adults might like them even more than the kids! read more

Mimosa Popsicles

I love brunch and mimosas. I could really eat breakfast food at all times. We do breakfast for dinner sometimes because you can never have too much breakfast food. Also because I am not much of a chef and some breakfast foods are easy. Brunch is always a good option for having people over with kids, my late night days are over. Of course for brunch you have to have mimosas. I love mimosas! They are such a refreshing drink and the only acceptable way to drink before noon. In the summer in Arizona I have a problem keeping mimosas cold enough. You do not want a warm mimosa. That is where the mimosa popsicles comes in. They are even more refreshing than a regular mimosa. You can serve them at a pool party and everyone will love them! Obviously this is not a kids popsicle but you can have juice pops for kids too. Momma needs a popsicle every once in a while. Bacon Pinata

Who doesn’t love bacon?! Besides vegetarians(sorry vegetarians this post is not for you). I don’t know too many people that don’t love bacon. I personally love all breakfast/brunch foods better than other foods. I could do brunch every day and breakfast for dinner every day! We do breakfast for dinner a lot and that has to include some bacon. I made this mini bacon pinata and I think it turned out adorable. You can use the same technique to make a larger bacon pinata or you could make it even tinier. For little ones just fill them with small candy. For the larger ones you can fill them with candy and mini plastic drink bottles. I’m assuming this pinata would be appealing to the adult crowd more than the kid crowd. Adults need more pinatas in there life. I think adults need to hit something and eat some candy more than kids ;). I’ve seen hamburger pinatas in stores but not bacon. read more

How To Have A Really Fun Tea Party

Tea parties are a good time but sometimes they can be a bit dull. I love tea and I love parties. There is sometimes just too much emphasis on the tea and not enough on the party, in my opinion. My daughter loves to throw tea parties for her little stuffed animals but we also like real tea parties too. We have learned how to have a really fun tea party and I want to share how we do it.

For us confetti is always a must but I get that it can be a little messy for some people. Mini disco balls and balloons also work great for fun decorations. Instead of everything all neatly lined up make it a little messy. We don’t need to be too proper. Bright colors are fun for the table clothes and plates. I always love the bright colors and in my house we are on a pink kick! read more

Polar Bear Donuts

Brrrr it is getting cold! In Phoenix 60 degrees is polar bear weather. I’ve had to bring out the big jackets! We are so wimpy here when it gets cold but I love the bit of cold we are getting. The cold makes me want to make some winter treats. I got a donut pan, Christmas came early! You might be seeing a lot of donuts from me. I am obsessed with making donuts now. I am still working on some really good recipes for the actual donuts and when I perfect it I will share my recipes. You can find a ton of recipes on pinterest for the donuts. I covered mine with candy melts but a white vanilla glaze or the classic powdered sugar would work too! These little cute polar bear donuts would be fun for breakfast Christmas morning. You could also make them for a holiday party. read more

My brunch week on the blog is coming to an end :(. I just had to make some brunch printables to go with the brunch fun. I would not survive without coffee! I really do not know how some people just don’t drink coffee. That is why I needed the but first, coffee printable. I love a good coffee bar and I will give you a few ideas of what you need for the ultimate brunch coffee bar! I also am a fan of mimosas. I love mimosas because they always make brunch feel like a celebration! My mimosa me printable is perfect for a mimosa bar. In the morning there aren’t a lot of words in my vocabulary so mimosa me should get the job done! I really like any kind of bar taco bar, mimosa bar, coffee bar,waffle bar, ice cream bar and bar bar. Bars are the best for parties because you can set them up to look all pretty and people get to choose the way they like their food and drinks.
