Unicorn Fairy Garden

It is the season to be outside and gardening. I’ve been doing a lot of gardening lately. Ok that’s a lie I haven’t done any gardening yet but I’ve been thinking about gardening a lot lately. We have stuff to start gardening but I tend to kill plants so I’m slightly intimidated by real gardens. I will get to that but to start out I made an adorable unicorn fairy garden. What is a unicorn fairy garden you ask? It is a magical garden for unicorns to hang out in, obviously. I made it colorful, fun, and sparkly to give it a magical unicorn vibe. I’ve made a classic fairy garden but this year I wanted to make something a little more fun. This is a fun activity to make with kids. The materials to make it I got from the dollar store, amazon, and Walmart. You can get most things from the dollar store. I painted a galvanized bucket for the basket but you can just get a colorful bucket and decorate it with stickers. This is such a fun project to make with kids! read more

Floral Bunny Headband

I’ve been putting spring and Easter together because I’m feeling the flowers this Easter. They go together like peanut butter and jelly! I also love the faux flowers headbands. I’ve made the flower crowns. The unicorn horn flower headbands are also amazing, although I have yet to try to make them. This flower bunny headband is so adorable and my daughter absolutely loved wearing it. In fact she even volunteered for me to take pictures of her with it on hopping around like a little bunny. She doesn’t like wearing her hair up but she loves headbands and holidays. This headband was the perfect fit for her and it will be going in the rotation of headbands she has. read more

Easter and Spring Wood Sign

Spring Flower SignBunny Butt Sign

Right now it is not feeling like spring but man am I ready for springtime! It is my favorite time of year. I love being able to get out doors more and enjoy all of the flowers. Since outside hasn’t caught on to the fact that it is spring I decided to brighten up inside with a fun Easter and Spring sign. Yup, that’s right this post is a double whammy of fun! One side of this heart sign is a spring sign and the other side is a cute bunny butt for Easter. You can switch sides and keep this decoration for longer. You could also just make one of these ideas, whichever you would like. I have to say though I really love them both. The heart sign I got around Valentine’s Day and it has been just sitting in my closet all sad and unused. Now it is getting some extra love, see what I did there, hearts and love! You can still find wood hearts at the craft store or on amazon. I found the flowers at the Dollar Tree and they look so gorgeous for such a reasonable price. Then I used pink pipe cleaners for the letter. You can also use sticker letters or paint on spring. The bunny butt is just white spray paint, a white pom pom, and pink foam paper. This part was really easy to make. Some of the flowers stuck out a bit on this side but it would be cute to use flowers around the top of this side as well to look like the bunny is digging around in the flowers. Bunnies are always up to trouble like that! read more

Bunny Napkins

The bunnies are coming out to play because it is almost Easter! Wow Easter just creeped up on me this year. I want to make all the cute things for Easter. However, this year in particular is super busy before Easter. My wedding is two weeks before Easter and that means I am really busy. I can still get it together to make some stuff because I always make time for crafts but these crafts are going to be super easy. These easy bunny napkins are about as easy as it gets. Plus, they are so adorable for Easter place settings or just casual Easter meals. I used some flower napkins that I had because spring and Easter go hand in hand. You can also use white or pastels would look really adorable as bunnies. read more

Sparkly mermaid basket

Mermaid Easter Basket

I have been obsessed with mermaids lately. In fact I made my office a mermaid theme because I just love them so much! I’ve also been dying to get some mermaid fabric for a project. First I got it for a mermaid message board, which I still might make but I haven’t gotten around to that just yet. I decided to make a mermaid Easter basket and I just love how it turned out. The colors in this fabric were perfect for a mermaid lover but they make them in a bunch of different colors know. You can write letters for kids names on the front. I made it for Easter but you can really use this basket for toys or all kinds of fun goodies year round. Mermaids can be included in all of the holidays in my opinion. You know the Christmas mermaid, Thanksgiving mermaid, etc. Also with summer coming up I anticipate a ton of mermaid fun on the blog and trending soon. read more

Crafts and Cocktails Party

This post is intended for an audience of adults age 21 and older. This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and Bacardi. All opinions are mine alone. #SignatureSips #CollectiveBias

Valentine’s Day has come and gone. However, Galentine’s Day and celebrating your closest friends can happen all year! I am all about women celebrating women. I decided to put together a crafts and cocktails party for my gals. Crafting and cocktails are perfect for any get together with friends. This party included lots of tasty drinks and some easy crafts. For the beverages I served Bacardi Limon with Wendy’s Signature Strawberry Lemonade.

Their Strawberry Lemonade is my favorite and it mixes well with Bacardi Limon. Seriously, you have to try it! You can only get it at Wendy’s. Since I was stopping by Wendy’s it worked out perfect to pick up beverages, Spicy Chicken Sandwiches, and fries. My gals were really excited for the drinks and snacks. read more

Slime Valentines

Slime is still really popular with the kiddos. I know mine loves it. I honestly have not been able  to perfect the slime making and it drives me crazy! Mine is usually too runny then I add too much of something and it’s too sticky. I have some skills but apparently slime making is not one of them. I have to learn tips from the kids that have perfected their slime making. When all else fails you can buy slime to go with valentines like I did. It is fun to play with that’s for sure! I made these fun little printables to go with the slime valentines and you can get them RIGHT HERE!!  read more

Pizza Valentine’s Day Printables

You all have a Pizza My Heart! Pizza also has a pizza my heart. At this point in my life I would much rather have a night in eating pizza and watching some Netflix with my love for Valentine’s Day than a night out. We are mostly home bodies. I just prefer pajamas to regular clothes. I also don’t want to get all ready and go to a crowded restaurant. We do love going out to eat sometimes but I get sleepy early. Lunch dates for sushi are our thing. When it’s night time I want to eat pizza and watch a movie or show. That’s mom life for you and you know what, I love my mom life. Gift giving can be tricky but everyone loves pizza! The little kids, teenagers, and on up. It’s just an all around crowd pleaser. Plan a pizza date with your favorite person or kid. Ok don’t pick a favorite kid(even if you have one) include them all! These cute pizza printables are fun with a gift card to a pizza place. You can also have them out with ordered pizza or in a small pizza box. If you are making a pizza night box you can include movie night goodies like popcorn and candy. You could also gift it with a pizza plushie, shirt, or something else decorative. read more
