One of the best things about the Christmas season is the parties! In the past I have done the classic Christmas party. This year I wanted to try something more fun and modern! I am going to show you how to have a super girly Christmas party! This would be such a fun theme for a girls night or Christmas crafting party. Decorating ornaments at this colorful table with girlfriends is a blast! It’s a Christmas Ornament Party with lots of easy do it yourself ornament touches. I went with pink and gold colors for more of a modern look but traditional red and green would work too. Make it your own with any colors you want that fit your crowd. This is such an easy party tablescape to set up and the end result is really pretty. I’ll show a few easy do it yourself projects to make a shiny ornament party. Shine on and bring the bling to your tablescape with lots of tinsel and glittery ornaments. I used wrapping paper for the base of the tablescape but you can use a colorful table cloth as well. I love this tablescape because it is bright and colorful. It is the perfect mix of playful and classy.

What you need for a fun ornament party:
ornaments in different shapes and sizes(at least two colors work)
sparkly cardstock paper
gold or silver pipe cleaners
plastic ornaments(for drinks)
To make an ornament plate take a small piece of sparkly cardstock paper about 3 inches wide and 2 inches long. Add a half circle shape with about a third of a gold pipe cleaner to the back of the strip of cardstock paper. Tape the paper to the top of the back of the plate. To make an ornament cup use a mason jar lid to balance it. Add sparkle tape to the rim of the lid. You can glue the lid to the ornament so it doesn’t move around. Make ornament place cards by writing in sharpie the names on the side of ornaments. Cover a table in a plain color table cloth or wrapping paper, I went with fun pink wrapping paper. Then spread the tinsel on top in the middle of the table making a zig zag pattern. Add ornaments spread throughout the tinsel and table. That’s all you have to do! You can use one, two, or all of these ideas!
All the sparkle makes a pretty party! I really love how these colors look together. This would be a fun color combination for Galentine’s Day as well.
