Happy almost New Year! I have been really busy this week with my daughter on break and finishing out the year. I wanted to get this post out earlier but it is a last minute project so posting it last minute makes sense, right? If you want a little something extra for your drinks tonight these New Year’s Eve ball drop straws are perfect! You just need a couple materials and you can whip them up in seconds. Also the pretty blue wine glasses are from the dollar store just so you know. They are one of my best dollar store finds!
What you need to make them:
paper straws
tin foil
small foam balls
Take the foam ball and poke a hole in the middle with scissors. Make sure the hole is just big enough for the straw to fit through. Poke more out if it isn’t big enough. Cut tin foil into 3 to 4 inch strips and wrap it around the ball. Then put the balls on the straws! If you don’t have the foam balls you can roll some tin foil or tissue paper into a 2 inch ball, then wrap tin foil around the outside and poke a hole in the middle.
